«Der kleine Doktor», Alfred Vogel
Alfred Vogel’s book on naturopathy offers over 800 pages of natural health advice, giving the world the opportunity to access the wide knowledge of one of the field’s Swiss pioneers. Since 1952 it was translated into 12 languages, sold several million copies and prove its worth over and over.
For the new revised edition, I created new drawings from the 40 medicinal herbs & flowers with the pen drawing technique and digital shading. Successfully capturing and reproducing the correct expression of the plant in the same tone was central to this work. I really enjoy looking at them – so I hope you will too.
Next to the medicinal herb & flower illustrations, I also had the pleasure of designing the book’s cover.
